If you currently have an active subscription of Acronis True Image 2017 (Standard or Premium), a new version build will be available to downloadfor free in your accountafter release. To activate it, just sign in to Acronis True Image 2018 installed on your computer, no additional serial number is required. The new version will be active until your current subscription expiration date.

If you purchased/activated Acronis True Image 2017 (perpetual license) between July 22, 2017 and August 22, 2017, you are eligible for a free upgrade to Acronis True Image 2018 Standard.

You can purchase an upgrade license directly from our website or from the built-in store in Acronis True Image installed on your machine. To access the built-in store, go to the Account tab, and then click Upgrade to see all available purchase options.

Cloud storage is available in Advanced and Premium editions of Acronis True Image 2018 only. There's no Cloud Storage within Acronis True Image 2018 Standard edition.

Acronis True Image Subscription Advanced has the following cloud storage quotas:

• 500GB

You can increase your cloud storage from 250GB to 500GB. If you need more than 500GB, upgrade to Acronis True Image Premium.

Acronis True Image 2016 Free Trial

Acronis True Image Subscription Premium has these cloud storage quotas:

• 1TB
• 2TB
• 3TB
• 4TB
• 5TB

You can increase your cloud storage to any of these quotas.

Acronis True Image 2018 is a backup solution intended for small environments and Cloud quota is limited to 5 TB. If you need more Cloud storage, we recommend to use Acronis Backup 12.5.

To continue to use the Cloud Storage after expiration of your current Cloud subscription, you should upgrade to Acronis True Image Advanced or Premium subscription.

If you don't need Cloud storage anymore, you can upgrade to Acronis True Image 2018 Standard.

If you purchased the product in our Online store, you will find the option to manage your subscription in the invoice received per email after purchase. Please refer to this article for more detailed instructions.

If the purchase was made offline or via reseller, the autorenewal is disabled by default and can't be activated.

If you wish to upgrade to Acronis True Image 2018 (perpetual license), your Cloud subscription will remain active until its expiration date, after that Acronis True Image Subscription (Advanced or Premium) should be purchased to continue to use Cloud storage.

If you wish to upgrade to Acronis True Image Subscription Advanced or Premium, the expiration date of your Cloud subscription will be recalculated proportionally depending on the quotas and remaining time of the previous subscription.

Activation

If your product is purchased from our Online store, it is automatically registered under your personal account. To activate the product on the machine, you just need to sign in to Acronis True Image 2018 installed on your machine.

If the product is purchased from offline store, you need to sign in to the product and insert the serial number. It will be registered under your account after that.

After the reinstallation of the operating system, the serial number needs to be reassigned from the old system to the new one.

To do so, install the product on the new operating system and follow the instructions from this article to move the license to the new system.

If you have changed hardware, the serial number may need to be reassigned.

If after replacing the hardware you have faced the error 'You've exceeded the maximum number of activations for this serial number', follow the steps from this article to reactivate your license.
